Logistics and network

Supplying Rajasthan.

Deliveries across Rajasthan start at about 120 km by road, which puts the nearer cities (Bhiwadi, Alwar, Sikar) within 2 days of dispatch. The state's demand centres on Bhadla and Jaisalmer solar parks, Jaipur engineering, Bhiwadi and Neemrana auto and engineering, Alwar, Kota and Bhilwara textiles, Jodhpur and Bikaner, Udaipur zinc and marble, Ajmer and Beawar cement.

Distribution in Rajasthan is handled by JVVNL, AVVNL and JdVVNL; RVPN runs the transmission network. Programmes now in execution include RDSS, Bhadla and Fatehgarh renewable parks, RVPN 132 kV and 220 kV works, and each is tendered against a technical specification that we quote and manufacture to.

Full specification and gallery

The power transformer line closed the last gap in the chain. Between distribution and power class we now cover 16 kVA right through to 20 MVA — a span very few regional manufacturers hold on a single site.

The standard substation build is 33/11 kV, Dyn11, ONAN, with an off-circuit tap changer at +5% to −10%. Where the network needs voltage regulation under load we fit an on-load tap changer at +5% to −15%, and where the load profile justifies forced cooling we supply ONAF with a rated output at each cooling stage.

FAQ

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does delivery of Power Transformers to Rajasthan take?
Road transit is about 2 days for a full load over roughly 120 km. Manufacturing time depends on the rating and quantity and is confirmed with the quotation.
Can you build to the JVVNL specification?
Yes. We quote against the utility's technical specification and guaranteed technical particulars, and routine tests are witnessed at our works by the purchaser or a third-party inspector before dispatch.
Do you supply private buyers and contractors across Rajasthan, not only utilities?
Yes. Industrial plants, EPC contractors, solar developers, builders and dealers across Rajasthan buy directly; send the schedule and we return a quotation with a delivery programme.
