Substation construction is where the manufacturing comes together. The transformer, the structures, the cable and the conductor are all ours, so a turnkey substation is largely an internal supply chain rather than a procurement exercise.
It also keeps us honest. When the same organisation manufactures the equipment and then has to commission it on site, specification shortcuts become your own problem — a discipline no amount of quality documentation replicates.
