Deliveries across Tamil Nadu start at about 2240 km by road, which puts the nearer cities (Hosur, Vellore, Chennai) within 8 days of dispatch. The state's demand centres on Chennai and Sriperumbudur auto and electronics, Coimbatore pumps and motors, Tiruppur textiles, Hosur engineering, Salem steel, Tuticorin and Ennore ports, Tirunelveli and Ramanathapuram wind and solar.
Distribution in Tamil Nadu is handled by TANGEDCO; TANTRANSCO runs the transmission network. Programmes now in execution include RDSS, TANGEDCO solar and wind evacuation, and each is tendered against a technical specification that we quote and manufacture to.
The power transformer line closed the last gap in the chain. Between distribution and power class we now cover 16 kVA right through to 20 MVA — a span very few regional manufacturers hold on a single site.
The standard substation build is 33/11 kV, Dyn11, ONAN, with an off-circuit tap changer at +5% to −10%. Where the network needs voltage regulation under load we fit an on-load tap changer at +5% to −15%, and where the load profile justifies forced cooling we supply ONAF with a rated output at each cooling stage.

- Design ambient 50 °C; seismic classification Zone III for structures and foundations.
- Coastal and industrial exposure: C5-M grade exterior paint, stainless or hot-dip galvanized hardware and heavier zinc coating on steel parts for sites near the coast.
- Temperature rise 45 K winding and 40 K top oil over the stated ambient, or 55 K / 50 K where TANGEDCO specifications allow; losses, impedance and tapping to the utility schedule or IS 1180 level.
