The grid runs at 50 Hz with 400/230 V low-voltage supply and 11 kV and 33 kV distribution (22 kV in parts of Abu Dhabi); 132 kV and above transmission. Distribution is operated by DEWA (Dubai), ADDC and TRANSCO (Abu Dhabi), SEWA (Sharjah), EtihadWE (northern emirates), regulated by Emirate-level regulators and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. Import conformity: ESMA / MoIAT ECAS applies to low-voltage equipment up to 1,000 V; medium-voltage equipment is accepted against utility specifications and type-test certificates (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA).

Standard build is Dyn11, ONAN, 11/0.433 kV or 33/0.433 kV, with off-circuit tapping. But almost nothing here is fixed: vector group, impedance, tapping range, winding material, fittings and efficiency level are all specified by the purchaser, and we build to that schedule rather than asking you to accept ours.
